Mindfulness & Meditation Training
We offer personalised 1-1 sessions so you can book at a time that suits and focus solely on you, or you can join one of our courses below.
We have 2 more courses for 2020. Each course has 3 sessions with occur over 3 consecutive weeks:

- Monday November 30, Dec 7, 14th 6.30-7.30pm

What will we cover?
Part 1: Intention & Motivation
• Intro into Mindfulness and how it can help you
• Learn self acceptance
• Set mindfulness intentions
• Mindful body scan exercise
Part 2: A calm clear mind
• Managing stress
• Engaging fully in life by being present
• Dealing with difficult emotions
• Mindful breathing exercise
Part 3: Relating to others
• Empathy and compassion
• Mindfulness exercises e.g. journaling, meditation
• Integration and change
Investing into your mindfulness training is $120 (for the group courses) or $300 (for private training) which includes 3x60min sessions plus your own journal. These sessions are not paid for separately as the course is designed to be delivered over the 3 sessions.
Who should attend?
This series of workshops are designed for anyone wanting to learn more about Mindfulness and enjoy its many benefits
Will I just be sitting and meditating?
No at all! The guided mindfulness breathing and meditation exercises make up about 10mins of each session and we change our positioning throughout the sessions.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just bring a pen you will be given a Mindfulness journal.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in.
Is this religious?
No, there is no reference to religion.

I joined a gym once upon a time but like most people who do I failed to utilise it, Studio Rubix is the complete opposite – I signed up for a series of lunchtime sessions, and really hate missing them! Toby is great at encouraging and motivating, his sessions (and Kate’s) cater to a range of abilities, but challenge everyone there. I’m getting fitter, and enjoying doing it!
Kate has been a massive help as I have been working on balancing my nutrition with a very busy and active life of a student and athlete. I have really enjoyed working with her to adapt my diet to benefit me in the long term and help me to reach my potential. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs any advice with nutrition.
