PRICING & PAYMENT

Intro Passes

An intro class pass is for clients new to Reformer Pilates– strictly 1 Intro class per person and has an expiry of 14 days. Existing clients e.g. Personal Training and Nutrition, can purchase this.

Starter Pack (4x classes in 2 weeks) is for clients new to The Loft– strictly 1 package per person and has an expiry of 14 days and will activate from your first class booking, not purchase date. You have 14 days to activate your Starter Pack from the date of purchase. Clients can purchase this if they have had up to 2 visits or are returning after 6 months.

All services must be pre-paid, unless by prior arrangement.

Concession Cards

Purchases are valid from the date of first use or booking unless otherwise stipulated; 10 concessions (6 months), 20 concessions (12 months), 30 concessions (12 months).

Purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Class/Appointment fees may be increased and class schedules may be altered by Studio Rubix at any time, in which case 14 days’ notice will be given.

We do allow price sharing with family members on these concessions.

All sales are final, purchases are non-refundable, exchangeable or transferable. No extensions are available except in special circumstances.

Studio Rubix may, from time to time, vary its prices to take account of, amongst other things, any change in the cost of providing the goods and services, by providing prior written notice to you. Any changes to the prices will take effect from the date specified in the notice.

If payment is made by direct debit, then you authorise Studio Rubix or their direct debit provider to debit the relevant amount from your nominated bank account.

If the debit day falls on a day that is not a business day, Studio Rubix may debit your account on the following business day.

You must ensure that you have sufficient funds in your nominated bank account at all times. There will be a $15 Ezidebit merchant fee for dishonoured payments.

If your direct debit payment is dishonoured then Studio Rubix may contact you in writing in which case you will have 7 days to provide a valid reason for the default, or to remedy the default.

Studio Rubix will be entitled to pass on to you the amount that Studio Rubix’s direct debit provider charges for your dishonoured payment(s). You may also be charged a fee by your financial institution. If you believe that there has been an error in debiting your account, you should contact Studio Rubix as soon as possible.

You must notify Studio Rubix of a change in your credit/debit card or bank account prior to your next agreed payment to avoid dishonoured payment fees.

Memberships

You agree to the minimum term specified at the time of commitment.

Suspensions are available for up to 2 weeks on a 3 month membership and up to 4 weeks on a 6 or 12 month membership. 7 days notice in writing via email to accounts@studiorubix.co.nz is required. This is over and above the suspension duration scheduled for our shutdown period over Christmas and the New Year. Additional suspensions incur a $10 fee per suspension. 

No sign-up fees. No price sharing available on memberships.

All memberships are activated as a week-to-week contract and automatically renew on the same day every week.

Cancellations of memberships after the minimum term require 14 days notice in writing via email to accounts@studiorubix.co.nz.

Early termination before the end of the minimum term can be requested in writing via email to accounts@studiorubix.co.nz. An early termination fee will be required in a full payment of 50% of the balance remaining.

Bookings and cancellations

To ensure effective exercise prescription and injury prevention, you can book a maximum of one Reformer Pilates class and Personal Training session per day.

We know life gets in the way sometimes and we are happy for you to modify your class or personal training appointment booking at any time up until 24 hours beforehand. If you cancel within the cancellation policy, the session purchased will be added back to your account for future use.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior will be charged the full cost.

Although we make a point to be flexible in case of emergency we do have this company policy to ensure we can continue offering the services and pricing options we do.

Cancellations must be made via your mindbody login or by phone. We do not accept cancellations by email, text, Instagram or Facebook Messenger.

Studio Rubix may cancel a class, in which you will be notified if you are booked into it and credited your session.

Once you’ve received the booking confirmation via email, you have accepted these conditions. Please ensure you have enabled the email notifications on your mindbody settings.

Some classes book out so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. We allow all of our clients to opt to be booked unpaid in advance, however if this service is dishonoured due to repeated cancellations we have the right to cancel it.

Waitlists


If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist and will be notified by email if a spot becomes available. There is an expectation if you are on the waitlist that you are available to fill that spot. If you can no longer be available for last minute class then it is your responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist or a no-show cancellation fee may be incurred.

HEALTH SCREENING

We require all clients to complete pre-screening questionnaires before participation. It is your responsibility to notify Studio Rubix if your medical situation changes along the course of your participation in our services. 

By attending Studio Rubix you warrant that, to the best of your knowledge, you are in good physical health and have no existing, or have disclosed, medical conditions that would prevent you from participating in Studio Rubix’s services, or that would be aggravated by using the services.

We strongly recommending you consult a doctor or qualified health professional if you have any injuries or become aware of any health concerns that may impact on your participation in the services before commencing training at Studio Rubix.

If you have an injury or health concern you must notify Studio Rubix before commencing any training at the Studio.

It is your responsibility not to use any equipment or undertake any exercise that you suspect may adversely affect any medical condition you have or as per the advice of your healthcare professional.

Studio Rubix staff may take and keep on your file detailed notes of your sessions.

PREGNANCY

  • We strongly advise you tell one of our trainers when you find out you are pregnant and arrange for a time to discuss the above.
  • Remind us when you approach each new trimester so we can enforce the changes needed and again discuss these with you.
  • Inform us of any health issues or injuries you may have or any apprehension with regards to your exercise in our studio.

LIABILITY

Studio Rubix has a functioning Health and Safety policy and we make every effort to minimise and eliminate any risk of injury or harm. 

You accept that your use of the facilities at Studio Rubix is at your own risk and you acknowledge that the use of the facilities may involve risk or injury whether caused by you or another party. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you agree that Studio Rubix will not be liable for any personal injury suffered on studio premises, or from using our facilities or equipment, unless due to the gross negligence of Studio Rubix.

Studio Rubix staff are not health practitioners. You should obtain medical advice prior to participating in services where appropriate.

Studio Rubix provides cubby holes and baskets for the storage of personal belongings. You accept that Studio Rubix is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings while you attend appointments/classes. Studio Rubix does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a Studio Rubix staff member. 

PERSONAL AGREEMENT

Personal Belongings: Studio Rubix provides cubby holes and baskets for the storage of personal belongings. I agree that Studio Rubix is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend appointments/classes. Studio Rubix does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a Studio Rubix staff member.

I understand that classes/PT sessions may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is a risk of personal injury, property loss or unlikely, death.  I understand I am expected to follow the trainer’s instruction with regard to my exercise. Studio Rubix will not be responsible or liable for any injuries to me resulting from my participation.

Privacy Policies

PRIVACY POLICY

Our Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect, store, maintain and use about you as our clients, visitors to our website, social media and other digital services, and members of the public. We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, disclosure, alteration, or destruction we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However, you should keep in mind that the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure or error-free. In particular, e-mails sent to or from our website may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to Studio Rubix via e-mail. Studio Rubix and our software MINDBODY may collect the following information: 

  • Contact details (e.g., name, address, email, telephone number, which may include third party emergency contact information),
  • Personal details (e.g., date of birth, education, nationality),
  • Financial and transaction data (e.g., purchase history, account information, shipping and billing information, etc.),
  • Other MINDBODY Services related data (e.g., customer requests, statistics, etc.), 
  • Location data with your permission (e.g. geolocation data sent via a mobile device)
  • the name of the domain from which you access the internet;
  • the date and time you access our sites;
  • the internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our sites.

You may review, change or delete personal information related to your use of our websites. To access your information, simply sign into your Mindbody account. If you would like to know what information we hold about you please contact us. If you discover that there is an error or information is missing, please update your details online by signing into Mindbody profile and editing the relevant details.

We will try to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy is accurate, complete and up-to-date. We expect that you will promptly notify us of any changes to your personal information. If you otherwise wish to access, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, please contact us on info@studiorubix.co.nz

Also, we make use of “cookies” on our websites. A cookie is a small software message sent to your web browser by our web server. Your browser stores the message in a file and the message is then sent back to our servers each time your browser requests a page from our servers.

We use cookies to gain statistics on which areas of our sites attract traffic. We also use cookies to improve your experience of our websites. For example, cookies allow us to recognise whether or not you are returning to our websites. In addition, we make use of third parties who use cookies to serve ads based on past visits to our website. This may allow us to alert you to products or offers which we think you might be interested in viewing. Most Internet browsers are set up to accept cookies. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you will need to adjust the settings of your browser to refuse all cookies or to notify you each time a cookie is sent to your computer. When you click on links and banners on our sites that take you to third-party websites, you will be subject to that third-party’s privacy policies. While we support the protection of privacy on the internet, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of any third-party websites.

Your “personal information” will only be used by Studio Rubix or our direct debit provider to provide you with the services contemplated by the Direct Debit Request or these Terms. Studio Rubix will only disclose such information to third parties to the extent specifically required by law.

You must not photograph or record other users in Studio Rubix without their consent.

Studio Rubix’s will obtain written consent for the use of your image in any promotional materials, including on Studio Rubix’s social media accounts.

Studio Rubix’s will obtain written consent, where there is an appropriate reason for doing so, to provide information to your health professional e.g. GP or Physio. 

Studio Rubix reserves the right to report to the appropriate authorities any situations where you are considered to be at risk of self-harm, or of harming others. Studio Rubix staff are also under an obligation to report to police any information received from you about the commission of a criminal act.
