Dietitian/Nutritionist, Personal Trainer
“Today is the day" my favourite start of a quote. I am all about taking on challenges, ticking boxes and empowering others around me to do the same. People who know me would probably say I’m not one to sit still for long.
Hence travel has taken me and my family all around the world. Being immersed in different cultures has carved unforgettable experiences and shaped my philosophy on health, food and exercise.
I love food, the creative side of cooking and the pleasure of eating. We are so lucky that food has evolved over time and we have an abundance of choices to choose from. So many foods can do awesome things for our bodies; make it a priority to enjoy them, nourish and fuel yourself. Eating shouldn’t be complicated or a chore. I want to help people feel energised through nutrition.
I love exercise, the feeling of being fit and challenge of discovering my limitations. Being able to cross finishing lines, hike the hills, play with my kids and keep up with my husband on a run are my motivators. Empowering others to be able to share this passion is equally important.
On a professional note, I have worked with hundreds of people from all walks of life, with different health concerns and diverse goals. This has taken place in Oamaru, Dunedin, Auckland, Ireland, Russia and now Palmerston North (plus a large online community). A desire to change, commitment, confidence and consistency are keys to success.
On a personal note, I originate from a little town called Rongotea, a stone’s throw from Palmerston North. I am a mother of 3 gorgeous girls who are simply the apples of my eyes. My husband, and business partner Toby, is a huge inspiration in my life.
My last words, “today is the day, it’s never too late to start”
