Snacking can be healthy, tasty and easy! When avocados are in season it’s the perfect time to whip up a favourite guacamole dip. We love experimenting with adding other colourful vegetables and spicy additions for a quick and easy, but healthy dip.
Ingredients
- 1-2 avocados, flesh scooped out
- 1/2 small red onion finely diced
- 1 tomato, finely diced
- 1/4 green or yellow capsicum, finely diced
- 1 Tbsp Sweet chilli sauce
- 1/2 lemon or lime juice (~1-2Tbsp) to avoid browning
- 1 Tbsp finely diced jalapenos
- Salt and pepper
- Smokey paprika
- Handful chopped herbs e.g. basil, coriander
Method
- Mash avocado with fork gently
- Fold in diced vegetables
- stir through sweet chilli, lemon juice, jalapenos and salt/pepper
- Sprinkle with dusting of smokey paprika and chopped herbs
