Race To the Brewery 2026 Recap!
We had an awesome time taking part in the Race to the Brewery this year, with our two teams – Team Rubix and Rubix High Flyers – both putting in outstanding efforts across a tough and muddy course. It was a fantastic day filled with plenty of laughs, a few challenges, and an incredible team atmosphere!
This year’s event also made a big impact in the community, with over $50,000+ raised to support important local causes including Relay for Life, the Rescue Helicopter, Volunteer Fire Brigades, and the RTTB Sports Scholarship Programme. It’s awesome to be part of an event that gives back while bringing people together through a movement, teamwork and a shared challenge.
Team Rubix had a great run, finishing in 8th place with a time of 4 hours 10 minutes! Outstanding effort!
The team was made up of:
- Chris Dench – 15km Town to Country Cycle
- Sam Drummond – 11km Rise and Fall Gorge Run
- Kate Morland – 7.5km Last Legs Uphill Hike
- Brian Puddick – 10km Kamikaze Mountain Bike
- Toby Morland – 5.5km The Dash Road Run
- Daniel Goymer – 7km Rugged Run Home

Rubix High Flyers also did an amazing job, pushing through every leg of the course with great determination and team spirit. Due to a small issue with the tracker at the finish, we’re still waiting on their official time and placing – so check back soon for an update!
