Ingredients:

  • 3/4-1 cup per person of apples
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/4 cup seeds
  • 1/4 cup nuts
  • 2tbsp oil
  • pinch cinnamon

Method:

  1. Chop fruit and place in small ramekins with a drizzle of water and sweetener if desired e.g. honey, maple syrup, brown sugar.
  2. Mix crumble ingredients together and place on baking dish
  3. Bake at 180deg for 5min or until golden and crispy.
  4. Sprinkle over baked fruit and serve with yogurt.

Notes:

  • Choose apples that are firm and slightly tart for the best flavour and texture in your crumble
  • Experiment with different flavours by subbing out apples for other seasonal fruits like feijoas, pears, or stone fruit
  • Store any leftover crumble in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving for the best taste and texture.
